Shinko Tire is located in Jinju, Korea and has modern and advanced production facilities totaling over 450,000sq.ft. Their two Jinju factories formulate compounds and manufacture tires for the motorcycle, automotive, and karting communities.

Shinko’s History

Shinko Tire Co., Ltd. was established in Jinju, South Korea in 1953. Originally, the company focused on producing bicycle tires and quickly became known for its commitment to quality and innovation.

In the 1970s, Shinko expanded its product line to include motorcycle tires. This move was significant as it allowed the company to tap into a growing market of motorcyclists and off-road enthusiasts.

By the 1980s and 1990s, Shinko began to establish itself as a global brand. They focused on international expansion, particularly in the North American and European markets. This was aided by their emphasis on producing high-quality tires that catered to both performance and durability.

Throughout the 2000s, Shinko invested heavily in research and development. They adopted advanced tire manufacturing technologies and introduced a range of products for various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, ATVs, karts, and motorcycles. Their internationally recognized technology earned them OEM partnerships across the globe.

Today, Shinko Tires is recognized for its diverse product lineup, including high-performance motorcycle tires, off-road tires, karting tires, and other specialty tires. They continue to focus on quality, innovation, and expanding their presence in global markets. Their Jinju, Korea facilities employ over 300 people and are dedicated specifically to the motorcycle, karting, and OEM temporary tire industries.

Kart Tire Production

Shinhung co,.Ltd kart tire production line is not an afterthought, but a dedicated manufacturing facility servicing the worldwide karting market. Utilizing the latest technology and patent know-how of rubber specialists, Shinko Racing Kart Tires are designed and manufactured in Jinju, Korea. Everything from the raw material formulation to vulcanizing is an in-house process at one of their two manufacturing facilities.

Shinko’s commitment to continuous technology development and system improvement earned them OEM contracts to go along with the ISO9001 quality system certification and 14001 environmental management system certifications.
